About HPPSC RFO

HPPSC recruits Range Forest Officers (Class-II, Gazetted) for the Himachal Pradesh Forest Department; the 2021 cycle was advertised as Advt. Nos. 7-I/3-2021 and 7-II/3-2021 (23 March 2021). An objective screening test, with separate syllabi for forestry and non-forestry graduates, shortlists twenty times the vacancies for a main written examination of two compulsory and two optional papers, followed by a physical test and a personality test.

Eligibility (summary)
