Screening test (objective), 2 hours, 100 multiple-choice questions of one mark each: for non-forestry graduates H.P. history, geography and socio-economic development (30), current events (30) and modern Indian history, culture, polity, economy, geography, disaster management, environment, gender issues and Gandhi (40); for forestry graduates Forestry (80), GK of H.P. (10) and national/international affairs (10); 0.25 of a question's marks deducted per wrong answer; marks not counted for final merit; twenty times the vacancies admitted to the main examination (Advt.
