HPPSC recruits Naib Tehsildars ('A' Class, Class-II Gazetted) for the Himachal Pradesh Revenue Department; under Advt. No. 3/2018 the recruitment was combined with Tehsil Welfare Officer posts. A two-hour objective screening test of 120 questions shortlists twenty times the posts for a main written examination of four papers (General Knowledge & Current Affairs, General English, English Essay and Hindi), after which qualifying candidates face a 40-mark viva-voce.
