UPSSSC recruits Senior Instructors (Jyeshtha Anudeshak) for the Deendayal Upadhyay State Institute of Rural Development, Bakshi Ka Talab, Lucknow, through a main examination open only to holders of a valid PET-2025 score. Advt. No. 21-Exam/2026 (10-09-2026, applications till 05-10-2026) covers 132 posts at pay level 6 (Rs 35400-112400) in several disciplines, including Agricultural Engineering (30 posts), Plant Protection (16), Horticulture (16) and Animal Husbandry (14), each with its own qualification; all sit one common written paper.

Eligibility (summary)

Advt. No. 21-Exam/2026: a valid PET-2025 score and the qualification of the discipline applied for; for Senior Instructor (Agricultural Engineering), a graduate degree in agricultural engineering with at least 50 percent marks, with preference for three years' experience in training and extension work on agricultural implements, two years in the Territorial Army or an NCC 'B' certificate.
