About UPPSC PCS

UPPSC's Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Examination, widely called UP PCS, recruits graduates into a wide range of Uttar Pradesh state and upper subordinate service posts. Selection runs in three stages: an objective two-paper Preliminary, a conventional Main exam with General Hindi, Essay and six General Studies papers, and a personality test. Questions frequently carry a special emphasis on Uttar Pradesh.
