Mathematical Olympiad (IOQM, RMO and INMO)
HBCSE runs the National Mathematical Olympiad Programme that selects India's teams for the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), EGMO and APMO. The first stage is the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM, conducted with the Mathematics Teachers' Association (India) and called PRMO until 2019), an objective paper in September; qualifiers write the proof-based Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) in November and then the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO) in January, whose awardees attend the IMO Training Camp. For 2026-27 the brochure lists IOQM on 6 September 2026, RMO on 15 November 2026 and INMO on 17 January 2027.
