Territorial Army Commission (TAC) Examination for Officers

The Territorial Army Commission (TAC) examination selects gainfully employed civilians for a part-time commission as Lieutenant in the Territorial Army. The Territorial Army Directorate of the Indian Army holds a computer-based test; candidates who pass are called for intelligence and personality tests at a Service Selection Board, and those in merit must clear a medical examination. TAC-2026 (11 male and 1 female vacancies) took online applications from 20 April to 19 May 2026 and held the CBT on 12 July 2026.
