About Agniveervayu
The Indian Air Force's Central Airmen Selection Board enrols unmarried men and women as Agniveervayu under the Agnipath scheme. For Intake 02/2027, online registration ran from 06 to 26 July 2026 and the Phase I online exam was held on 22 and 23 September 2026. Candidates shortlisted state-wise on normalised marks go through a physical fitness test, Adaptability Tests I and II, and a medical examination before a provisional select list is drawn up.
Eligibility (summary)
Intake 02/2027: born between 01 July 2005 and 01 January 2010; Science subjects need 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and English (50% aggregate and 50% in English) or an equivalent diploma or vocational course, and Other than Science subjects need 10+2 in any stream with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
