About SBI SO (SCO)

State Bank of India fills specialist posts through separate Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO) advertisements issued through the year on regular or contract basis; the 2026-27 series had reached No. CRPD/SCO/2026-27/25 by 30 September 2026. There is no single exam: each advertisement sets its own eligibility and selection. For example, CRPD/SCO/2026-27/15 (Trade Finance Officer) uses shortlisting and an interview, while CRPD/SCO/2026-27/02 (Law) and 03 (Bank Medical Officer) hold an online written test before the interview.

Eligibility (summary)

Set separately in each advertisement. For example, CRPD/SCO/2026-27/02 asked Assistant Manager (Law) candidates for a law degree, 2 years' experience as a practising advocate and/or bank law officer and age 25 to 32 as on 31.05.2026; CRPD/SCO/2026-27/15 asked Trade Finance Officer (JMGS-I) candidates for graduation with an IIBF Certificate in Forex Operations and age 21 to 30 as on 31.07.2026.
