About LIC AAO

LIC recruits Assistant Administrative Officers (AAO) through a three-tier process: an online preliminary examination, an online main examination with a typed descriptive English paper, and an interview, followed by a pre-recruitment medical examination. The 32nd batch, notified on 16 August 2025, offered 350 AAO (Generalist) posts, with a separate notification for 410 AAO (Specialist) and 81 Assistant Engineer posts. Its preliminary exam was held on 3 and 7 October 2025 and the main exam on 8 November 2025.

Eligibility (summary)

AAO (Generalist) 32nd Batch: age 21 to 30 years as on 01.08.2025, with category relaxations; a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised Indian University/Institution. Read the latest notification for exact age limits, relaxations and qualifications.
