About MP TET

The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (formerly Vyapam) holds computer-based tests for school teachers in Madhya Pradesh: Eligibility Tests (Primary, Middle and High School Teacher Eligibility Test) that establish the TET qualification, and Selection Tests (Primary, Middle and High School Teacher Selection Test) used to select teachers for recruitment. The Board lists each test as a separate recruitment test on its website, and question papers are held shift by shift. A separate Eligibility Test for in-service teachers of primary and middle classes is scheduled from 12 October 2026.

Eligibility (summary)

For the 2026 in-service eligibility test, the rule book admits government-school primary (or middle) teachers who have not yet qualified the TET, and sets minimum qualifying marks of 50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/EWS and 60% for others; eligibility for the regular tests is set in each test's rule book.
