About MP SET

The State Eligibility Test is conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission to certify eligibility for Assistant Professor, Librarian and Sports Officer posts in universities and colleges of Madhya Pradesh, following UGC and state Higher Education Department instructions. It is a single-session offline OMR test with a compulsory General Paper on Teaching and Research Aptitude and one subject paper. SET-2025 was notified by Advertisement No. 01/SET/2025 dated 15.10.2025, with the test on 11.01.2026.

Eligibility (summary)

Per the SET-2025 advertisement: a post-graduate degree (or final-year/semester study) from a recognised university with at least 55% marks (50% for Madhya Pradesh SC, ST, OBC non-creamy layer and disabled candidates); there is no age limit.
