Teacher Eligibility Test pattern

Primary level (in-service teachers' eligibility test): one paper of 150 MCQs of 1 mark each, 150 marks, 2 hours 30 minutes, with five compulsory parts of 30 questions each (Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-1, Language-2, Mathematics, Environmental Study); no negative marking. Middle level: 150 marks in 2 hours 30 minutes, Part A of 30 marks (Language-1 8, Language-2 English 5, general knowledge and current affairs, reasoning and numerical ability 7, pedagogy 10) and Part B of 120 subject MCQs; no negative marking.
