GPSC now holds one General Studies preliminary paper jointly for several advertisements whose prelims share a syllabus, so a candidate registered in more than one of them writes the paper once and, after giving an undertaking, has the score counted for each. The paper in this library, reference 9994/2026-27, was held on 7 June 2026 for four advertisements including the Gujarat Administrative/Civil Services Class 1-2 exam (Advt. 5/2026-27); a separate 34-advertisement common paper (9993/2026-27) followed on 1 August 2026. GPSC has also issued a single General Studies syllabus used across its preliminary examinations.
