APSC recruits Forest Rangers in the Assam Forest Service for the Environment and Forests Department (latest cycle Advt. No. 22/2025 dated 16-06-2025). Selection is by a written examination of an English essay paper, a General Knowledge OMR paper and two optional subject OMR papers at bachelor's degree level, followed by a walking test, medical examination and interview.
