About SSC MTS

SSC MTS fills Group C non-technical support posts (Multi-Tasking Staff) in central government offices and Havaldar posts in CBIC and CBN for matriculates. MTS candidates are selected on a single computer-based exam, while Havaldar candidates must additionally clear physical tests.

Eligibility (summary)

Matriculation (Class 10) pass or equivalent; age 18-25 years for MTS and 18-27 years for Havaldar and some MTS posts as on 01-08-2025, with category relaxations. Read the latest notification for exact age limits, relaxations and qualifications.
