About SSC CHSL

SSC CHSL recruits candidates who have passed Class 12 for clerical and data-entry posts in central government offices, chiefly Lower Division Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant and Data Entry Operator. Selection runs through two computer-based tiers, with a skill or typing test built into Tier-II.

Eligibility (summary)

Class 12 pass or equivalent (DEO posts in certain departments require 12th with Mathematics in Science stream); age 18-27 years as on 01-08-2026, with category relaxations. Read the latest notification for exact age limits, relaxations and qualifications.
