About CSIR Technical Assistant
CSIR has no single national test for Technical Assistant (Group III): each of its laboratories, and CSIR headquarters, advertises its own vacancies for diploma and B.Sc holders in specific disciplines and holds a trade test followed by a three-paper competitive written examination. Paper I (mental ability) is qualifying and the merit list is drawn from Papers II and III. Several laboratories publish the question booklets and answer keys after the examination, and the pattern below is from the CSIR-CMERI information handout for Advt. 04/2021.
