About CS Professional
The Professional Programme is the final examination stage of the Company Secretary course of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), open to students who have passed the Executive Programme. Under Syllabus 2022 it has seven descriptive papers of 100 marks, four in Group 1 and three in Group 2, each group including one open-book elective, examined in June and December sessions. ICSI has scheduled the December 2026 Professional papers from 21 to 28 December 2026.
Eligibility (summary)
Per ICSI's "About CS Course" presentation (September 2026), the Professional Programme is open to students who have passed the CS Executive Programme; registration by 31 May allows both groups in the December examination of the same year.
