CS Professional 2026 — Group 1
9 Group 1 papers from the 2026 CS Professional examination, conducted by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Each paper links to its official source. Group 1: Syllabus 2022: Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) – Principles and Practice; Drafting, Pleadings and Appearances; Compliance Management, Audit and Due Diligence; Elective 1 (one of six, open book).
Group 1 pattern
Four papers (531, 532, 533 and one Elective 1 paper from 541 to 546) of 100 marks each; time allowed 3 hours per paper. The core papers have 6 questions, all to be answered; elective papers are open book examinations (6 questions, or 4 for some electives such as 543 and 544). In the December 2026 time table every paper runs from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM, including 15 minutes of extra time for reading the question paper.
