Besides scientific and technical posts, ISRO centres recruit on their own for support posts: Fireman 'A', Sub Officer and drivers, Cook and catering staff, Hindi Typist, Assistant (Rajbhasha) and Junior Translation Officer, Nurse, Pharmacist, Lab Technician and Radiographer, and teachers for the central schools at SDSC SHAR and VSSC.
