About CA Final
The Final examination is the last level of the Chartered Accountancy course of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), taken after both groups of the Intermediate, practical training and the self-paced online modules. It has six papers of 100 marks in two groups; Papers 1 to 5 mix 30% case-based MCQs with 70% descriptive questions, and Paper 6, Integrated Business Solutions, is an open-book case-study paper of 4 hours. ICAI has announced Group I for 2, 4 and 6 November 2026 and Group II for 9, 11 and 13 November 2026.
Eligibility (summary)
Per ICAI's FAQs on the New Scheme of Education and Training, a student may appear in the Final examination after registering for the Final Course (open after passing both Intermediate groups), completing practical training six months before the first day of the exam month, completing the Advanced ICITSS course and qualifying all four Self-Paced Online Modules.
