About KEAM

KEAM is the admission process run by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, for professional degree courses in the state. CEE itself holds two computer-based tests: the Engineering Entrance Examination in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, and the Kerala Pharmacy Entrance Examination in Chemistry and Physics for B.Pharm; in 2026 the two tests were held between 17 and 22 April in several sessions. Engineering ranks give equal weight to the normalised entrance score and qualifying-exam marks, while architecture uses NATA and medical courses use NEET-UG.

Eligibility (summary)

For KEAM 2026, applicants must be 17 years old by 31 December 2026, with no upper age limit for Engineering and B.Pharm; Engineering requires a pass in Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with Physics and Mathematics and Chemistry (or Computer Science, Biotechnology or Biology) with at least 45% marks together.
