About KCET

KCET, run by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) as the Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET), is the state entrance test from which KEA publishes ranks for engineering, farm science, B.Pharm, Pharm.D and other professional courses in Karnataka. It is an OMR-based written test with four separate 60-mark papers in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology; in 2026 they were held on 23 and 24 April. Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates also sit a short Kannada language test.
