Indian National Physics Olympiad
INPhO is the second stage of the National Olympiad Programme in Physics organised by HBCSE (TIFR) in early each year; students qualify for it through the National Standard Examination in Physics (NSEP) conducted by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) in November. Top performers are invited to the Orientation-cum-Selection Camp (OCSC), which selects the Indian team for the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) and the Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO). For 2027 the INPhO is scheduled for 31 January 2027.
