IISER Aptitude Test
The IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) is the only channel of admission to the five-year BS-MS (dual degree) programme at the IISERs and to the four-year BS and B.Tech. programmes offered at some of them, run by the IISERs' Joint Admissions Committee. It is a three-hour computer-based test of 60 multiple-choice questions, 15 each in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, set in English and Hindi. IAT 2026 was held on 7 June 2026, and admission follows the rank list.
