About MAHA TET

The Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHA TET) is the eligibility test that candidates must pass before appointment as Shikshan Sevak or teacher for Classes 1 to 5 and 6 to 8 in schools of all managements, boards and media in Maharashtra. It is conducted by the Maharashtra State Council of Examination, Pune. MAHA TET 2024 was held on 10 November 2024 with Paper I in the morning and Paper II in the afternoon, and MAHA TET 2026 was held on 28 June 2026.
