About TNPSC Group 2

TNPSC's Combined Civil Services Examination-II fills Group II posts (such as Probation Officer and Deputy Commercial Tax Officer) and Group IIA posts (assistants and similar posts) in Tamil Nadu government departments. A common objective preliminary examination screens candidates, followed by separate main examinations for Group II and Group IIA, each with a qualifying Tamil Eligibility Test. Notification No. 8/2024 dated 20.06.2024 announced 507 Group II and 1,820 Group IIA vacancies.
