About HSSC CET Group D

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission recruits for Group D posts in Haryana government departments, boards and corporations through its Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group D posts. Selection rests on CET marks alone: HSSC shortlists candidates from the CET merit list, takes their willingness for the posts on offer and recommends them to departments. The previous CET for Group D was held on 21 and 22 October 2023 under Advt. No. 01/2023; the next was advertised on 18 June 2026 as Advt. No. 05/2026, with the exam date to be announced separately.

Eligibility (summary)

Under Advt. No. 05/2026: Matriculation with Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matriculation as one of the subjects (for Group D posts other than sweepers and chowkidars), and age 18 to 42 years on the closing date of registration, with relaxations as per Haryana Government instructions. Read the latest notification for exact age limits, relaxations and qualifications.
