About UTET
The Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) is held by the Uttarakhand Board of School Education to certify candidates for teacher posts in schools of the state under the RTE Act and the NCTE notification. UTET-I covers classes 1 to 5 (primary stage) and UTET-II classes 6 to 8 (elementary stage). Each paper has 150 objective questions of one mark in 2 hours 30 minutes, and the Board publishes the answer keys on its website. The Board's notice of 14 July 2026 scheduled UTET-I and II 2026 for 29 September 2026.
