Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET)
TNTET is the eligibility test required for teachers of classes I to VIII in Tamil Nadu under the RTE Act; the Teachers Recruitment Board is the nodal agency under G.O.Ms.No.181 of 2011. Paper I qualifies for classes I to V and Paper II for classes VI to VIII. TNTET 2025 was notified on 11-08-2025 (Notification No. 03/2025) as an OMR-based test, and the Board's notification list gives 15-11-2025 and 16-11-2025 as the examination dates.
