About TG DSC
The DSC (District Selection Committee) teacher recruitment test is how the Commissioner and Director of School Education, Telangana fills School Assistant, Secondary Grade Teacher, Language Pandit, Physical Education Teacher and special education teacher posts in government and local body schools. DSC-2024 (Notification 24/RC-1/TRT/DSC/2024 dated 29.02.2024, 11062 posts) was held as a computer-based test between 18 July and 5 August 2024, with a separate paper for each post, subject and medium. For most posts the written test carries 80 marks and TET marks add a 20% weightage; the official portal lists no later DSC notification as of October 2026.
