The High Court of Uttarakhand recruits District Judges to the Uttarakhand Higher Judicial Service directly from the Bar, and through a Limited Competitive Examination for serving Civil Judges (Senior Division). Direct recruitment has a written main examination of three papers, preceded in some years (2017, 2019) by a preliminary examination, and a viva-voce; the LCE has two papers. The High Court posts the papers from 2008 onward. The scheme was not verified from an official text PDF for this page, so no pattern table is given.
