About MPPSC SSE
The MPPSC State Service Examination recruits officers for Madhya Pradesh's state services through a Preliminary exam, a Main exam and an interview. For the 2026 cycle the Commission rolled out a revised scheme: both Preliminary papers now carry 300 marks with a +3/-1 marking rule, and the Mains has six descriptive papers totalling 1500 marks. Madhya Pradesh history, geography, polity and economy run through the syllabus.
