Main Examination: Single-stage OMR examination of three objective papers: Paper 1 Language Knowledge (Hindi and English, qualifying), Paper 2 a chosen Tribal or Regional Language, and Paper 3 General Knowledge.

Main Examination pattern

Three objective papers of 2 hours each; every question carries 3 marks and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. Paper 1 Language Knowledge: 120 questions (Hindi 60, English 60), qualifying with a 30% minimum and not counted in merit. Paper 2 Tribal and Regional Language: 100 questions in one chosen language, 30% minimum. Paper 3 General Knowledge: 150 questions (General Studies 30, General Science 20, General Mathematics 20, Mental Ability 20, Computer Knowledge 20, Jharkhand-related knowledge 40), 30% minimum.
