J&K Combined Competitive Examination
The J&K Combined Competitive Examination, widely known as the KAS examination, is conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission to select candidates for the J&K Administrative Service and allied services and posts. Under the SRO-103 rules of 2018, a two-paper objective Preliminary Examination screens candidates for a written Main Examination with a qualifying English paper and seven merit papers, followed by a Personality Test. JKPSC held the Main Examination of 2025 in mid-2026.
