Railway Recruitment Boards Recruitment of Various Posts in Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Group D)
The RRB Group D examination recruits for entry-level Level 1 posts (starting pay Rs 18,000) such as Pointsman-B and Assistants in track, bridge, carriage and wagon, loco shed, signal and telecom, and electrical units across all railway zones. The current notice, CEN 09/2025, covers 22,195 vacancies and is open to candidates who have passed Class 10, hold an ITI, or have a National Apprenticeship Certificate. Selection rests on a single objective CBT followed by a physical efficiency test, so candidates need both written-test speed and physical fitness.
