Preliminary Examination pattern

A screening test of qualifying nature: one paper of 150 multiple choice questions of one mark each (maximum 150 marks), with 25% negative marking for each wrong answer; duration 2 hours. Minimum qualifying marks 50% for general and 45% for SC, ST and PwD candidates; not more than twenty times the vacancies in each category go to the mains.
