XAT 2018 — XAT computer-based test

1 XAT computer-based test paper from the 2018 XAT examination, conducted by XLRI – Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur (on behalf of XAMI). Each paper links to its official source. XAT computer-based test: 3 hours: Part 1 aptitude test (170 minutes) and Part 2 General Knowledge (10 minutes); XLRI and other institutes then run their own selection processes.

XAT computer-based test pattern

About 95 questions in 180 minutes, 1 mark each: Part 1 aptitude test of 170 minutes with Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (about 26 questions), Decision Making (about 21) and Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation (about 28); Part 2 General Knowledge of 10 minutes (about 20 questions, 8 static GK and 12 current affairs). Part 1: 0.25 mark deducted per wrong answer and 0.10 mark per unattempted question beyond the first 8; GK has no negative marking and its score is used only by XLRI for its own selection (XAT 2027 exam pattern on xatonline.in (same scheme as the XAT 2026 Quick Overview)) Official source
