All MCQs with four options. Paper I Mathematics: 75 questions, 100 marks (50 Category-1, 15 Category-2, 10 Category-3), 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Paper II Physics & Chemistry: 40 questions each (30 Category-1, 5 Category-2, 5 Category-3 per subject), 100 marks, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Category-1: 1 mark, -1/4 for a wrong answer; Category-2: 2 marks, -1/2 for a wrong answer; Category-3: one or more correct options, 2 marks with partial credit and no negative marking (WBJEE-2026 Information Bulletin, sections 2.1-2.7) Official source
