NEST examination pattern
Computer-based test of 3 hours with 4 sections (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics), each of 20 multiple-choice questions and 60 marks; +3 for a correct answer, -1 for an incorrect answer, 0 if unanswered. Candidates must attempt at least three sections; the total is the sum of the best three section scores above the section-wise minimum. Question paper in Hindi and English.
