About Jharkhand B.Ed CET

The B.Ed./M.Ed./B.P.Ed. Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is held by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board for admission to B.Ed., M.Ed. and B.P.Ed. courses in Jharkhand institutions. The 2026 test (Advt. No. 08 dated 24.02.2026, session 2026-28) was an offline OMR examination held on 31 May 2026 at district headquarters in the state; seats are then allotted through online counselling on the basis of the merit list.

Eligibility (summary)

For the 2026 examination, candidates need at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC, PwD and other reserved categories) in a bachelor's and/or master's degree in Science, Social Science, Humanities or Commerce, or 55% (50% reserved) in B.E./B.Tech with specialisation in science and mathematics; final-year students may apply.
