Uttar Pradesh Sub Inspector (Civil Police) and Equivalent Posts Direct Recruitment
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board recruits sub-inspectors of civil police and equivalent posts such as platoon commanders. The 2025 recruitment (notice PRPB-B (SI cadre)-03/2025 dated 12-08-2025) covered 4,242 civil police SI posts plus PAC, Special Security Force and women battalion posts; its OMR-based written examination was held on 14 and 15 March 2026 in four shifts.
