About MP Police Constable
The Police Constable Recruitment Test is conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (formerly MP Vyapam) to recruit constables (General Duty) for the Madhya Pradesh Police. The 2026 rulebook covers 7,500 posts, 700 in the Special Armed Force and 6,800 outside it, with online applications from 22-09-2026 to 06-10-2026 and the computer-based test from 19-11-2026. Candidates up to seven times the vacancies, by cut-off percentile, go on to a physical proficiency test, whose marks are added to the written marks for the final merit list.
Eligibility (summary)
Per the 2026 rulebook: Class 10 (under the 10+2 system) or higher secondary pass, Class 8 for Scheduled Tribe candidates; minimum age 18 and maximum 33 years for unreserved men as on 06-10-2026, with relaxations for other categories.
