The Central Selection Board of Constable, Bihar selects Driver Constables (chalak sipahi) for Bihar Police and Bihar Special Armed Police under the Bihar Police Driver Cadre Rules, 2017. Advt. No. 02/2025, dated 17-07-2025, covered 4,361 posts, and its OMR written test was held in a single shift on 10-12-2025. The written test only qualifies candidates for the physical efficiency test; those who pass go on to a driving efficiency test, whose marks decide the final merit list, with documents checked before selection.
