One Tier / Tier-I Examination (CBT) pattern
300 MCQs of one mark each, 300 marks, 3 hours. Section I: Mental Ability and Reasoning, General Awareness, English Language & Comprehension, Hindi Language & Comprehension, Numerical Aptitude & Data Interpretation (20 marks each, 100 marks). Section II: 200 MCQs on the post-graduation qualification and teaching methodology (200 marks). Negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer; minimum qualifying marks apply to Section II only; questions bilingual except language papers.
