Phase I Written Examination pattern
Paper I (General Knowledge, Everyday Science and Mathematics) and Paper II (General Hindi and English, 75 questions each): each an objective paper of 150 questions, 100 marks, 3 hours, all questions of equal marks, with 1/3 negative marking; at least 40% in each paper is required, and up to three times the vacancies are admitted to Phase II (Clerk Grade-II/Junior Assistant Combined Direct Recruitment 2026, Advt.
