One offline OMR paper of 3 hours: Section A General Studies 50 questions (150 marks) and Section B Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Agricultural Engineering 100 questions (300 marks), 3 marks per question = 450 marks; scored as 3R - W (1 mark deducted per wrong answer); 40% required in each section (30% for MP SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PH); Section A in Hindi and English, Section B in English only (State Engineering Service Exam 2025, exam plan dated 07.01.2026) Official source
