One Tier / Tier-I Examination (CBT) pattern
One Tier Technical (I-T-T), 3 hours, 300 marks. Section A: 100 MCQs of one mark (General Awareness, Reasoning, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Hindi, English; 20 marks each). Section B: 100 MCQs of two marks each on the technical and domain knowledge of the subject (200 marks). Negative marking 0.25 marks per wrong one-mark MCQ and 0.50 per wrong two-mark MCQ; minimum qualifying marks apply to Section B.
